Super Fun Entry Way Art!

Helllooo! Like I said in my last post…I have been whipping out the Pinterest found projects like crazy the last few weeks! I have another one to share with you today!

So..I saw this on Pinterest…so cute…

but I wanted to use my digital scrapbooking stash and make my own. And of course I didn’t even need to go buy any thing because I already had a bunch of frames I had picked up at the thrift store and $$ Tree in my stash. Not all the frames where black, I just buy them if they are a few cents and I like the shape! I just painted the ones that needed to become black.

First thing I did was lay out all my frames and decide what word was going to be in each frame..Measured them and marked them each with a post it with the size and which word was going to be in them.

Now that I had it all planned out, I opened up a new file for each one in photo shop in the size for each frame. I found some cute digital Alphas that match my décor and did my digital designing. One cute little word for each cute little frame.

This is what I ended up with…

So, now I have this cute bit of Wall art right in my entry way. Welcoming all who enter! The best part…is that I made it myself out of stuff I already had! Yea!

Dining Room Wall Art

Sorry! It’s been sooo long since I’ve blogged…I’ve been so busy..I have organized and cleaned every square inch on my house. Of course that makes me want to create some new fun goodies for my house. Of course I have been browsing Pinterest and have come up with LOTS of great ideas! I have quite a few projects to share, but to keep you wanting more I’m only going to share one per blog post.

So today I have a real simple little sign I made for my dining room. If you didn’t know, my kitchen and dining room are decorated with cherries.

So, if you look on Pinterest you will see tons of these “Keep Calm” signs…I made one personalized just for my space…here it is.

I just used some digital scrapbooking paper and elements from the GingerScraps store, had it printed by Persnickety Prints (It’s 11x14 so I couldn’t print it out at home.) Then I stuck it in a frame I had in my stash.

Simple, cute and fun!
