Keep It Real :)

So, I’ve been thinking…looking at at all these wonderful blogs…all these awesome projects…done by all these awesome women and Mommies. Even on my own little blog, and in my real life. I get comments…gosh you always make such cute things, you have four kids, your always smiling, you are super mom.
Well, we are all super moms! Life is crazy! Busy, tiring, for me creativity is an escape. I have to be doing something with my hands. I get this from my mother. Now she really was super woman. But, yes, she did yell at us sometimes, but that doesn’t make her and less super.
But, this brings me to thought…I laugh sometimes. Here I am in my little house. My kitchen table is covered in paper, paint, glitter etc.  pretty much at all times. I sometimes work on the same project for days, a little at a time before I can get done. In between working and homework and playtime and dinner and grocery shopping and cleaning, cleaning, cleaning. I’m sure all you other crafty ladies and busy Mommies can relate…so..let’s keep it real.
This week I made a few things..here are 2 of them. I made a scrabble tile necklace for my Bff. She requested a wine theme, perfect for her next wine tasting trip plus I added a beaded necklace to my smile tile. Yes, my beads sat there for days. Yes, I had to tell my 3 year old about 1 million times to not touch my beads. Yes, he kept touching them…I know the feeling, I like the way they feel too . But of course they turned out beautifully and they look perfect in these pictures.

Let’s keep it real…today I’m talking laundry…I can’t keep up on it..no matter what I do. I hate it. I would rather clean the bathrooms..including toilets. I do like 4 loads a day at least. just the towels alone drive me crazy. I wash them, fold them, put them in the bathroom, still when it’s time to take a shower…way can’t I find one??
So here is my Keep it real picture for this week. I had this pile growing in my bedroom, it kept getting bigger and bigger. It’s clean..boy do I need to fold it. the pile was moved by my daughter to her room. She cleaned the whole house while I was gone Sat night so Sunday the house would be all clean for mother’s day. Even my bedroom. But the poor girl didn’t have time to fold it all so, we moved the pile from her room to the living room. it sat there all morning, she started folding a little before she left..it sat there..


but yes, I did fold it I even put some of it away. some of it..lol. No I’m not a slob, my house is actually pretty clean most of the time. but I hate laundry. I admit it. there is nothing I can do to change that about me…I just hate it..lol. maybe someday I will have one of the huge laundry rooms like the duggers..then I might like it just a little bit more. But, I will probably spend more time making cute little projects to decorate my big huge laundry room than I actually will spend doing laundry in it!
